One of the five types of intervention HOPE Foundation does is Employment.
Unemployment
and skill vacuum co-exists in India. The logical thing to do would be
to fill the holes on both sides by teaching skills to unemployed
youths. Ultimately, it not only helps the larger economy by pumping
industrial growth, but also brings much needed essential needs to the
doors of the poorer sections.
In 2007, 5356 youths - both boys
and girls, enrolled across 39 different HOPE Foundation Centres across
the country.
